As is the general rule, Jewelry should always be looked after with great care, regardless of what it is comprised of.
Caring for Jewelry involves some simple advice:
If you have any doubts about the condition of your Jewelry, we recommend that you not wear it until it has been checked by an expert.
Stones can visibly deteriorate when in contact with chemicals such as acids, alcohol, perfumes and detergents, etc... Different temperatures can have an altering effect too.
Keep natural stones, such as pearls, well away from chemical agents such as soap, perfume, creams and detergents as they are more susceptible than other gems. Avoid direct contact with heat such as lighting and radiators as precious stones like these will disintegrate.
